Haven't done a run now for over a week. Tummy bug, followed by Race for Life, followed by the cold from hell which is still hanging on in there. Had done w7r1 but cant imagine being able to do that now. Thinking I might have to go back a week or two as feeling very unfit and frankly quite fat !! Any suggestions please xx

I am in exactly the same situation. Did Race for Life on the 15th and have been ill since, although in my case the tummy bug hit after RfL and still coughing now so don't think I will be running until after the weekend. I had also just got to W7 but think that I might go back to W6, I am reluctant to do W5 again as that was a milestone which I feel I have ticked off and don't want to go back to for now. Your fitness won't have disappeared that quickly, just remember how far you have come, lace those running shoes up and get started again - it is the only real way to find out if you can jump straight back in or need to repeat a couple of weeks. What is the worst that can happen? Good luck and keep us posted.

Just try jumping back in where you were - you've got nothing to lose.

I agree with Googleme, just do it (to quote Nike!) What's the worst that can happen? (Doctor pepper!?) If you struggle just try it again next time :D good luck x
