I'm on week 10, and today ran for 35 minutes (after vowing that 30 minutes was perfectly enough for me!) and found that I ran 3miles/4.85km. Soooo close to the 5k. If only I'd run for a minute or so extra....

I had to admit that as a graduate I now have 3 different runs I like to alternate between. I have a longer 4 mile run that I mapped out. I'm not bothered about speed, just completing the run. I have my 5k route where I aim to complete it as fast as possible. I also have a 2.5mile route which is for interval training and I alternate my pace between lamposts. Lastly, I have a measured mile and occasionally time myself if I'm feeling energetic enough to think I can beat my PB that day!

That is a brilliant achievement, I wasnt near 5k when I graduated but it soon became the norm, you'll be there very soon, well done.
