It started off so well! I was secretly pleased I couldn’t run early this morning due to appointments. The -2 feel like factor never a great incentive! As the day wore on however & the tyranny of the urgent took over I became a little stressed about fitting the run in at all. I know in order to help others I need to be at my best mentally & physically & one of the ways to do that is to run! I spotted a small gap where I could fit in a very short recovery run! A quick change and out I went. The stress of the day melted away. The sharp cold air waking all my senses enabling me to sharpen my thoughts & decision making. The rhythm of the run calming and restorative in itself. I turned homeward. The run was almost done and yes Wednesday was Wonderful!!

Sounds lovely Annieapple ! I got home from work feeling tired and cold and not like running at all! Had a snack and a cuppa and looked at tomorrow’s forecast🌧️🌧️ and off I went! A lovely 5K and so glad I went!🙂🏃‍♀️

🤣Yes I must admit the forecast here is grim tomorrow so felt quite smug that I have done my run! Well done on 5K … once we out we do ourselves proud! 😊

That’s a super post pet and beautiful picture. I very nearly went out yesterday. However other thing got in there first so I ended up doing Pilates which was great. Now it’s raining for the next few days so I think maybe I’ll have to run maybe when there is a gap in the rain hopefully or do more Pilates 🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️😂😂🥰x

Simply moving can be the only option, and that is fine. I have used indoor and other exercise so much over the last months of last year... but they really do impact.

So much truth in that statement.... and well done you. I too got out yesterday... -1. I had a busy day ahead, but like you, knew that the run would ease the mind and strengthen me.

Sometimes it is very hard to fit in the runs and to get out there, when not running would be an easy option.

Hoping today is a wonderful day for you, too. x

🍏Thanks Oldfloss need to take a leaf out of your book and  Folkylass too. When the weather is very bad get on with Pilates etc when I can’t run! The icy wind is picking up & strong gale force coming later and heavy rains tomorrow. Snow inland.
