Can’t believe I’m doing this

Just completed week 2 run 2 in the pouring rain. Who is this person? I wouldn’t have believed it and feel that the support and other stories in this group help so much. Hope I still feel this way in another few weeks.

Yeah you did!

The best thing about running is the mental strength it shows you that you never thought you had.

Wait till you do your first snow run😃

Running in the rain always makes me feel like a hero. You are a superhero too! Your super power is grit and willpower. Really well done!

🍏☔️💦 One things for sure, when you pop those trainers on and head out the door age doesn’t count! You are a runner like the rest of us. Loved your post! Well done 👍

Haha- this made me chuckle AIto,

I think we have all found ourselves, running in the rain lately ( no a lot of choice in this British summer ) .

I have tried before it rains/ after it rains and actually found I enjoyed running while it rained . More the medium /soft drizzle than the big dirty downpour.

But everything feels fresh and new. I love the smell of the rain.

And it keeps other people inside so you can feel like the world is yours alone !

Well done on the perseverance 👏

I'm still a fair weather runner. I won't set off if it's raining, but don't mind it too much when I'm rained on during a run.

I have had a hailstorm during a long run once, and that was not pleasant.
