Have been an overweight man for over 20 years, always made excuses to why I could not run.. the app has really changed my approach to diet and fitness also to how I exercise in the gym .. have completed week 7 and now looking forward to week 8.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

It sounds too good to be true, but this programme changes lives.

Enjoy your journey.

Growing up I was always the fat kid, always have been really. I used to find excuses not to exercise very easily, I need to take the bins out, I need to mow the grass, etc, etc, etc, I now need to come up with a very good reason indeed for not hopping on the treadmill.

Happy running

It’s great isn’t it. It’s so inspiring to hear so many people on this forum who have never run, never exercised etc etc and who are now banging on about the benefits of running.

I’ve just finished week 6. 6 weeks of running is nothing, and yet I feel better physically and mentally and look forward to going out running. I hardly recognise myself.

Enjoy!
