I have an amazing Bluetooth device that connects to my phone and my hearing aid, but it needs to be charged!! When I came to use it this morning, I hadn’t switched the plug on last night.. normally I would then run without music! However at the moment I am doing NRC guided runs in an effort to get back into a 5K park run so I patiently waited an hour before setting out..
A cooler morning 11 deg C and a light drizzle greeted me as I set off down the hill towards the coast. Having found my rhythm and listening intently to the podcast I was irritated to find my route blocked by a large council deep cleaning vehicle.. so a turn around, and back up on to the top path and into the run again… find my rhythm and pass the 10min mark…love getting past those toxic 10 and leaving the gremlins behind too ..how they nag me in those first few minutes..,their favourite saying “ you are too old for this! “ and of course I am not!!! Another 20 mins and the happy hormones kick in, and I could run forever, but the podcast challenge for today is done. I can unplug and walk back up the hill with a song in my heart and a spring in my step. …Run done. ✅

Just super!!! It is odd when our routes suddenly gets blocked and we have to do a detour..it has happened to me a few times... ! Always fun though...
Your run sounds to have been a good one and those happy hormones, we do really feel them kick in and that run forever feeling... just lovely... well done you!
Hi Anniapple, Ive just got new Stretta aids, which I can connect to my phone via Bluetooth if only my phone was compatible! I hope you don't mind me asking what device you use, or is your phone compatible anyway? I have Aftershokz, which I can hear music but not voices ( podcasts) through.
