I'm doing week 4 like several others on here. On Wednesday I did run 1 of week 4 and I've only just connected my Garmin. It tells me the temperature was 27.8 during my run. Today I intended to go out early but I'm not an early riser these days (retired!)
I went out just before 9am and enjoyed the run more than Wednesday's. Garmin tells me it was still 20 degrees though! I've been taking water on these runs, though previously I wouldn't take water unless I was going further than 5k. Making sure I stay well hydrated. Enjoy your runs, everyone.

It’s really shocked me how warm it is by 10am and how the temperature has stayed high right into the evening. I absolutely hate running with water and almost never do unless it’s a long one. I took some this morning.
One way I avoid carrying it is to leave my bottle behind a tree and do a looping route past it. This morning, I set myself up a proper little aid station with water, jelly babies and towel!
Thanks so much for the reminder. Enjoy your runs too! ❤️
Yes I have started taking some water too, even on a very short run., and I run early... I love MissUnderstanding 's aid station... like an en route support picnic!
Well done you and on taking that water... our post on staying cool for hot running has loads of tips there too!
well done for getting out there despite the heat! I’ve joined the early bird gang for this warm spell, running at around 7 am. But there are some serious early birds on here as well, avoiding the heat by running at 6am and even 5am ! 😳😱🥱😴
