Running up to a 10k in September I was struggling with my heels. They were not too bad, but as I was running for charity I didn't want to let the charity down and during my 10k I should have probably stopped as my feet went completely numb, the problem I have is my heels are sore all the time now and dont seem to be healing up. Does anybody have any tips or help as I have stopped running and playing squash since this and would hopefully like to get back into both at some point.
Many thank

Not advice, but a reflection on when it happened to me. Turned out to be plantar tendon and calf being tight as ticks after an Achilles injury put me out for 2 years. Sports Therapist did deep tissue massage (ouchy ouchy!) and 8 weeks later I'm back running and here at the start of Parkrun again.
