After numerous setbacks, including hip and knee pain, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, Covid and shingles I’ve finally completed the programme after 2 years and it feels amazing!
I would like to thank all of the wonderful people on this forum whose support and good advice has spurred me on - it has really made a difference. Thanks also to Sarah Millican, who has encouraged me every step of the way.
The challenge now will be to build on the progress I have made and to make sure I run on a regular basis and become a real runner!

Congratulations, after all those earlier setbacks on graduating from C25K, well done, you deserve to be very proud of yourself, now go and celebrate your wonderful achievement 🏃🏾 👍 🎓
Wow congratulations, so many setbacks but you kept going, I have just completed my very first day, I hope I have your determination to get to the end 🙌🙌🙌
Thank you so much!If you really want to do this, you will. There will be good runs and not so good ones, but the lovely people on this forum taught me that even the not so good ones build up your resilience and staying power. Good luck on your running journey and if you need any support and encouragement, this is the place you will find it.
Thank you Oldfloss, and many thanks for the advice you have given me in the past, which undoubtedly helped and encouraged me to keep going and complete this amazing programme.
I bet! I thought it took me long enough! I've been on the IC since 2 weeks post graduation and feeling very frustrated and a bit sorry for myself, but your persistence has inspired and encouraged me, thank you 😊
I’m sorry to hear that Liono, that’s really tough. I’m glad if I’ve been able to help in some small way. Take care, give yourself plenty of time to recover and be reassured that you will get there again. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery 🥰
