Just an update following my succesful Park Run 10 days ago. Instead of ignoring the rest of C25k stages (I completed week 5 before finding myself at a Park run!), I took the advice on board and have gone back to the programme. I am now on Week 7, running 25 mins comfortably and with the knowledge I can run for longer if needed. I have now started to vary my runs so it’s not always flat and hopefully by the time I graduate and do my next Park run, I may be able to improve on my time and stay injury free.

Thanks for posting this Mojoxxx - it takes strength and grace to accept and act on advice when it's not really what you want to hear. Delighted to hear that you're continuing to do well with C25K, and I wish you many, many more happy runs in the future!

Excellent! I found it helpful to remember that every run you do on the c25k has been planned by someone who knew what they were doing and it’s making you fitter and stronger. That stopped me trying to skip ahead…which I did find very tempting at times. Once the bug gets you, you just want to run all the time!!! Slow and steady.
Looking forward to hearing how your next run goes. Enjoy the rest of the programme ☀️
