Well I’ve only gone and done it! I’ve finally graduated C25K today for the second time.
I initially graduated in 2020 but due to injury had a long lay off. I restarted C25K in the New Year and got up to the end of week 8 when I tested positive for covid. I had 5 weeks off running whilst recovering and started running again this week. I expected to have to go back to intervals again but thankfully had not lost much fitness (thanks to dog walks whilst recovering I think ). I have been running at a slower pace but this I can work on.
Today on my run I passed a lady coming out of her door, and she gave my a thumbs up and said I really admire you, I said thanks and it really spurred me on. It was so kind.
I’m so pleased to be an active runner again, it’s a Good Friday indeed!
I have signed up for Race For Life in 5 weeks so my next goal is consolidate and gradually build up to 5K, happy running everyone, and happy Easter!
Thanks for everyone’s continued support and advice on this amazing forum, it’s a much appreciated and Ive learnt so much ❤️

Thank you, my journeys not been a straight line to success but I’ve learnt from my setbacks and I feel I have come back stronger for it. And you are so true, you never know who is watching! I was actually flagged down by someone once on a run to be told to “keep going!”, it was so sweet and so ironic it made me laugh as I ran on 😉
