A couple of months ago I was just about to start wk7. Was buzzing then I got an injury on my leg requiring surgery. That has healed completely so thought I’d start wk5 today.
Gutted 😞 struggled to complete it and stopped half way. Pace bad, breathing all over the place and legs felt heavy. 😫😫😫.
Is it worth starting from the beginning again but feel like I’m going backwards!???

HI Ju-Ju40 , sorry to hear about your injury and glad it's healed.
I'm still a fairly inexperienced runner (completed C25K at the end of June 2020) and in life generally I hate having to go back and re-do something I've already achieved. However, the more I run, the more I realise that rebuilding gradually after a setback is far more helpful than trying to speed things up.
The other thing that didn't dawn on me until just before completing the programme was that C25K graduation was the beginning, not the end, and that there'd be plenty more runs out there in the future.
Many of us have started at the beginning following injury. It's the sensible way. I'm actually considering it after covid. My last few runs have been a real struggle 😪
It's not going backwards, it's the sensible thing to do !Remember to stay well hydrated also, this could be the reason for heavy legs and remember the Conversational pace 👍
Running is running, Ju-Ju40, however long or short the duration. You could always start again and just do run 1 of each week until you feel settled again...😉
