I am still slowly going though C25k on my treadmill - up to Week 6 now. I do each day's task twice over, amounting to around 1 hour each time including 2 lots of warming up and cooling down . It's too damned hot and humid here right now to go outside every day. I do parkrun every Saturday and usually run with my local running club for a sociable hour on Sundays ( and then breakfast) . Also just signed up for a 12k trail run next week. I always like to go back to C25k - it keeps me grounded - 75yo now and starting to feel it
Still on the treadmill.: I am still slowly going... - Couch to 5K
Still on the treadmill.
Great stuff, Bazza.
I would just like to clarify for any new runners considering emulating you, that you are already an experienced runner and not starting from zero, as most doing C25K are.
Keep running, keep smiling.
I hope I am still running in my 70s! Amazing
You can! Just don't stop after you finish C25K There are many other running challenges out there.
I am almost at my 1 year runiversary, trying to improve week on week, this is the longest I have ever stuck to anything, c25k has really changed me!
Yes - first time I have ever stuck to anything physical too have been at it now for 8 years I think it was the progressive nature of C25k and thne other later training programmes. Now I have a daily habit of running and/or walking 6 days of the week- Friday is my day of rest before a Saturday parkrun where I have a bit of a blowout
