Hi!Iβve finally complemented the couch to 5k and would like to request my badge! It took me about a month or so longer than expected due to lack of confidence but slow and steady helped me win the race!
Great ! And nothing wrong with slow and steady , it's the best way to build a good base fitness.Congratulations on your graduation, here is your badge ππ
I completed the final run today, what a feeling !!!
Started in Feb 2021 but kept getting injured.
A combination of listening to others here and taking things sensibly, losing weight / eating less bad food / drinks etc ... has finally seen me sail through with no niggles since restarting in October.
Completed C25K on 7th January and can't believe how well I took to it. I completed my first parkrun on Saturday with a time of 27:50 (over 2 mins faster than my gym runs) so I'm well chuffed and looking forward to consolidating at 5k before moving on to better times and perhaps even going longer distances in the future. π
I just completed c25k this morning! This is my third attempt over the years. Spent a lot of time lurking and getting tips from this forum & it has been super super helpful!
I did my last run of week 9 last night, in Melbourne, Australia. I did it late with a head torch after watching Ash Barty in the tennis. Super muggy, around 28Β° before a big storm rolled in, it wasn't fast, but I'm pumped I did it. Thanks for the friendly advice on the forum through the "journey".

Hi there and very well done on completing the course ! ππππI notice it was some time ago when you did week 9 run 3 !
And you have come to the 'January' badge post and there is now a 'February' one listed in the pinned posts section of the forum .
But fear not ! I'm sure Mummycav who is hosting the latest post won't mind me issuing a final badge before I lock the safe and pass on the keys to her, so here you are. ... Your well deserved Graduate badge π
Awww thanks instructor 57. It takes me a while to get around to things. But I've just read about the February QUEST, and it looks as though with this badge to my name I can sign up. Thanks.
Yes you can join in on the Quest in the bridge forum , note though that the graduate badge will not show in Bridge ! It's only on the forum it was granted on
