Congratulations on thinking of running with C25K, the training course that can get you running for 30 minutes in 9 weeks.

Take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, doesn't need to be 9 weeks, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, good luck for your running journey with C25K, if you wish you can report your progress on this forum. 😊 🏃🏾

The best advice I've had on here is to take it slow and make sure you drink enough, even on your rest days. Good luck, look forward to hearing how you get on.

The best advice (other than that which AlMorr has provided), is to follow the plan! Even if you think you can do a bit more, don't! It's a great plan, well thought out and tried and tested.Take each run as it comes and enjoy the experience x

Welcome to the program and to the forum !You have already had some good advice .

I would also recommend that you read the program guide as it is full of useful information to help you through the program with minimum risk of injury .

Enjoy the journey !

Lots of good advice already given here AB2326. I would only add that you can never go too slow - I couldn’t catch up with a walker this morning (well, he was moving at a pretty good pace it must be said and I’m a notoriously slow runner!). I would also recommend you look through all the posts on here, not just your own, because you’ll continually find answers to your own questions . It’s amazing how much encouragement you can get from reading about other people’s progress through C25K! Good luck - and enjoy it!
