Completed wk3 and absolutely loving it but my knees are swollen, using knee supports helps pain whilst running but swelling is getting worse, will it get better in time? I'm 62 and never run before.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
do not run if your knees are swelling. Rest up and perhaps take longer between sessions.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
