Wk 4 Run 3

Another run completed, yippee. Total weight loss now 14lb since starting C25K this time round.

For all you newbies wondering why you haven’t lost weight please don’t compare yourself with me. My personal circumstances have contributed hugely. I am currently going through a divorce and struggling to eat and sleep. Averaging 600 calories and 3-4 hours sleep each day which is not big or clever and not something I recommend you follow.

My aim is to continue until the end unlike last time where I gave up at wk 7, but I am doing this is for me.

Happy Running!

Hey that's really great Little Missie, congratulations - but you really need to up those calories and sleep or you will grind to a halt and might do yourself some damage! Hopefully if you eat some additional sensible food but not too late at night, your running and success should help you get more sleep too - Virtuous circle!

Good Luck and keep running

Thank you but I physically can not swallow. My appetite will return once the pain has subsided. I am drinking plenty water and attempt to eat with the kids at tea time. I will get there, one day at a time 😊

Don't go too long with that situation without seeking medical help though... or the kids could end up looking after you!! Best wishes!

Your doing well and running will help a lot with the stress and anger but you 100% can't sustain exercising with so little calories going in. By all means eat healthy and continue the good work but do try to eat more, your body needs fuel to burn or it will fail.

Positive ending, your doing great with the running keep up the good work! 💪🏻

Thank you. At the moment I don’t seem to be struggling with energy, obviously time will tell once I have to run longer and hopefully by then my appetite will have returned. I do like my food 😊

Well done on keeping up the running.

I’m no expert to this but as the others have said, more than anything you do need to eat enough calories for this. The last thing you need right now is to get sick and exhausted.

Also, just that fact you are getting out in the mornings to do your run shows you have the determination and mental strength. That, together with some more calories will literally make you unstoppable.

Thank you I am determined to complete C25K this time. I have my kids to consider so I am trying my best to succeed and not become ill. Maybe running is going to be my happy place! 😊

Hi. Sorry you’re going through a tough time. Try some of the relaxation exercises, I found that it helped me to get rid of some of the tension so the sleep I did get was peaceful. Divorce takes a toll on mind and body

Thank you its not an easy time and sprung on me rather suddenly. But one step at a time and hopefully one day I will thank him. I will come back from this stronger, fitter, slimmer and healthier 😊

Well done on concentrating on you, you're appetite will return when you settle down. It's very common to lose weight going through stressful times.

Well done on the running.🏃‍♀️😊

Thank you. Stress has played a major part but hoping the running will help combat that 😊
