I’m on week 5 and had noticed after the last couple of runs last week I am getting a bit of pain at the top of my left leg near my groin! I am a bit worried as I had a total left hip replacement in March 2919 and everything has been great but I just hope I’m not creating problems by running 🏃♀️. I didn’t think I would enjoy the C25k but I am and would hate to think I will have to give it up! Is anyone out there in a similar situation or able to give me some helpful advice. I would really appreciate it - thanks
Any advice : I’m on week 5 and had noticed after... - Couch to 5K
Any advice

If the pain persists it would be better to stop running for a little while and seek medical advice, however, if you run a little slower, hopefully the pain will go away.
It’s not when I’m running it later or the next day - but I only take it steady when I run 🏃♀️
Are you doing any warm up exercises and cool down stretches?
I’m doing stretches after but not before - have been looking at sites on here that give you stretches before any suggestions
This is the NHS C25K set of post run stretches, but it only does the hip flexor and ITB (neither of which I can feel when I do them).

You might be best getting medical advice if it doesn't pass after a few days' rest.
Thank you I do most of those stretches after my run 🏃♀️
I sometimes get the pain you describe, not while running, at random times. The first time I had a very bad pain I had been moving furniture around by myself, pushing it with my hips!
I always do those post run stretches but the admin recommend holding them for 30 seconds (rather than the 15 seconds it mentions in the article).
