So, I have been a bit out of sorts for the last week or 2 .
Had a week of not sleeping very well then also a stomach problem .
I ran on Saturday as I'd managed a few nights reasonable sleep but still felt tired , I was hoping to make it a long run but it didn't happen, I bailed out at 5k.
Since then had a stomach upset and not felt able to run ☹️
I was planning on running this morning as it has been improving but decided it still may have been unwise .
Don't really know what the problem has been , I feel it's on the mend so fingers crossed I can get back into my running routine shortly.
And most importantly, enjoy it ! 🙂

Sorry you haven’t been well, Ian. Hopefully, as you say, you’re on the mend now and it won’t be too long before you’re fighting fit again. We know we should listen to our bodies and yours will tell you when it’s right to go out running. Get well soon ! 🤞👍
Ah...sorry to hear you’re not feeling too good at the moment 🤗. I think you’re doing the right thing to rest, while you build up a bit more strength.
It’s not likely to be too enjoyable if you’re pushing yourself too hard. Recovery is important as we want to run strong and enjoy it. Rest awhile and look after yourself Instructor57!! 🤗🤗 The best thing is...running will still be here waiting for you! 😉 I hope you will be feeling better very soon! 😁❤️
You are right !, I want to be able to enjoy it , not endure it
At least it's not an injury 🙂👍
Sorry to hear that, I hope you’re feeling much better soon, it’s tough missing your runs when it’s become such a great part of your life. Good to hear you say if you’re not well enough to run you’re not well enough for work, if only I’d learnt that in my working life! Great that you’re taking good care of yourself 🤗
Sorry to hear Ian ... I know with your zest for running you must be disappointed and frustrated! But as a wise man told me when I bust my calf during the program, listen to your body and take time out if and when needed ... btw, that was you !!!
Am sure when you are feeling better, you’ll be back at it with even more vigour! Take it easy and take care.
Oh I'm sorry you don't feel great but it was best to listen to your body and not push yourself. I have some issues with my digestive system which can make me feel pretty awful now and then, so do understand it can lay you low sometimes.
Rest up, take care of yourself and you will be back to enjoying your runs very soon! 😊
Oh, lots of sympathy- I have been plodding on with a low grade headache/ upset tummy/ tired bug too - I keep thinking it’s improving or gone & then it pops up again. ☹️
It will pass eventually no doubt. I have run some days & not others - listening to how I feel.
Sorry to hear you've had a bad couple of weeks. Hopefully you're over the worse now and can look forward to getting out and about again when you're feeling more like your usual self 🙂
