I was away and so wanted to continue with my runs, my last run was Monday, W3R2, it was hardest yet. I believe it was because I was away and not in my comfort zone. The place I had planned in running, I wasn’t able and so I ran the streets instead. I didn’t enjoy it at all. Tonight, I really want to get back into it, but am nervous at having 5 days of resting...!! I’ve put it off and put it off...and it hasn’t helped me mentally believe I can do it...! I shall really be pushing through tonight 😨
Did my run and it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting...W4 here we come 😃

As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running, so you are worrying unnecessarily.
I know what you mean about running in a place that you are not comfortable with, I am lucky enough to have a garden I can run in even though it is a lot of up and downs and zig zags so I thought I should try our local village field and I hated every minute of that session. I didn't enjoy being out seeing other people so now I just accept I enjoy doing it in my comfortable place. Good luck getting back in the zone.
