Don't be so hasty - depends on the make and model. Always try before you buy. I'm a size 5 in normal shoes and a size 5 in Nikes Lunarglide and Brooks Cascadia but 5.5 in another Brooks road shoe.

Definitely! Some people go a size and a half.
