Half way through week 8 and after 15 mins of running I have to stop due to pain lower calf left of centre. I rested for two weeks and it happened again. It takes 48 hours for the pain to go away and I can walk ok with no pain Any ideas why and best way round it

I started to get this when I started and found this really good article, there are some exercises you can do to help your calf strengh, single calf raise.

From your posts it looks like you have a recurring issue, so if you are not getting to the bottom of it, consulting a GP or physio is your best bet.
