I am seeing the earbuds being advertised and i like the concept. But how practical are they for running. Are they secure?

Yes, I use them. Much better than trailing wires and hot headphones. Mine fit snugly in-ear and also have a loop over the top of the ear - no feelings of looseness or falling out so far.
I’ve just invested in a pair of beats Powerbeats and not having to worry about the trailing wire is great. They just have one wire that connects the two earphones which sits round the back of your neck.

I didn’t get on with these, so I got some wireless (no wire to phone) in ear Earphones ,but have a wire that joins them together that sits behind my neck. They also have a loop that hooks over the ear.
I get very sweaty and earbuds just kept falling out, so these were more comfortable and secure for me
