Perfect , well you certainly had a great run. Isnโt it a good feeling when everything goes well and your happy to pass 5K and then 6K , so you just have to try for 7K .
It may not happen every time one goes out and thatโs ok .
Congratulations for a great run - I did 7K on Thursday morning too. I took it slowly and just plodded along happy seeing all the critters scurrying back home after a night out ! ๐พ
Congratulations on your longest run, well done, makes you feel good ๐๐พ๐
Crikey you did nearly double what i did in the same time! Thatโs brilliant. I may be a tad jealous
That's brilliant, you're doing so well! I've managed a 4k but nothing like that! How often have you been managing to get out since being back at work?
Itโs not been so bad, still every 2-3 days, I think cause I make a point of working it in to my routine it helps. I donโt allow myself to make excuses, if itโs a run day I just lace up and get out there. I just tell myself it doesnโt matter how far I go but that I have to go, kind of relieves any pressure ๐
Hey 4K is great, you should be proud of your journey โบ๏ธ
I have the exact same mentality, it's scheduled in, it's run day, go! Miss it when I don't go ๐
I think you have to though donโt you, I feel if you even allow yourself a sniff of an excuse itโs a slippery slope. Iโm the same, start to get itchy feet if itโs been a couple of days ๐
And for me knowing I've lost loads of weight and feel good about the way I look for the first time in an age, plus I feel so much healthier, I just don't want to lose those benefits!!
Absolutely, so many positives from a motivational perspective. I need to master the weight one next, my eating habits during lockdown and then annual leave the last fortnight have been awful ๐ณ๐
I find the food one more difficult than the exercise strangely, Iโve always loved my food, add to that I have somewhat of a sweet tooth and it makes for a very naughty Dion ๐
๐ honestly I'm not much different, super sweet tooth ๐ and I know that cutting out sugar is the quickest way to lose weight annoyingly! But I've really improved my diet because I think of food now as fuelling my body for running. If I don't eat enough healthy stuff, I feel much worse for it when I run, so that mindset has really helped me. Also the amount of extra water I'm now drinking keeps hunger at bay most of the time which is a huge help. Best of all I've got out of that horrible cycle of I'm tired, reach for sugar, sugar crash, I'm tired, reach for sugar...I'm definitely less tired these days which must be the exercise. All of this makes for a very virtuous sounding Diane but I do still allow myself chcolate when I fancy it ๐๐
Wow, you seem to have it sussed out, I need to follow that lead. As for the treats I think thatโs probably the key isnโt it, to not deprive yourself, otherwise itโll get a little depressing. Iโm usually quite good when I get into a routine with something, so itโs just getting my mind right for it ๐
Wow! Well done ๐ I have a planned 7k this morning and Iโm twitching. The thought of doing one accidentally is way in my future. Hats off to you ๐ฉ
Well done! ๐
Inspirational.... fantastic!
