Just got back from my graduation run πββοΈ and I am just sooooooo happy π not just that I've completed it but because I can comfortably run for 30mins, that is the biggest achievement for me. I have absolutely got the bug for running and am so looking forward to building on this great foundation the programme has given me. I've said before this is not the end but just the beginning and the possibilities now are excitingly endless.
Thank you so much to all the Admin, Graduates and fellow learners for all the support and advice, it really is so valuable and appreciated.
Happy running everyone β€οΈ

Congratulations on completing the programme. I never thought I would ever be able to run for 30 minutes but this programme is brilliant fir taking you through step by step . Onwards and upwards x
How did you find the programme? Were there any tough weeks? Iβve just started week 6 and I just still canβt see me being able to run comfortably for 30 minutes!
I absolutely loved the programme it really does work if you trust it. I struggled with end of week 7/beginning of week 8 but I think it was just getting used to the long runs without walk break, felt a bit of a slog but got through it and the rest was great. It really teaches you about pace and to not worry about speed and to just be comfortable. I didn't believe I could do it either and struggled with breathing till prob week 8 but you honestly surprise yourself, you really will be able to do it π keep going
Good to know you struggled with breathing until week 8 (in the nicest possible way!) I worry that Iβm achieving each run (so far!) but donβt by any means consider myself able to do a 30 min one and βrelaxβ into it!!
I was getting through most of the runs until end of week 8, just about making them but checking my pace I was going quicker. It felt hard to go slower if that makes sense but the last 2 runs in particular I kept making sure I was going at a comfortable pace and I manged them fine, could have gone on longer. I never ever thought I could do that either lol I think the whole point of this programme is to teach us to jog comfortably for a period of time, not run 5k in 30mins and it really is achievable if you belive in it. I've been trying to run 5k non stop since I turned 40 last June, tried park runs and the treadmill at the gym but this programme is the only thing that has worked. Like so many other on here I've achieved what I didn't think I could do....the proof we can Is all the graduates π you'll do it πͺ
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K π ππΎ π

I'm due to do my w9r3 on Friday and couldn't agree more. The sense of achievement of being able to run for 30 minutes is unbelievable. Reading what you wrote made me feel excited about the future of running after this too.
Congratulations Iβve just started the app again after a very long time. More determined to stick to it this time just need to get my breathing right.
Congratulations. Brilliant feeling isnβt it! Never, ever thought I would get into this running lark-now here I am 3 months after graduating & still running 3 times a week (& loving it)!
Enjoy the celebrations & more importantly enjoy your new hobby!
