Running with back pain

Hi all very new to all this I was just wondering if anybody on here suffers from back pain I have a herniated disc in my lower back do people still manage to complete a run ?

I have sciatica and run ok. A long walk and I suffer for it the next day but a run makes it feel better.

I think you should check with your Dr as disc problems sound more tricky.
