On week 3 ... doing a bit extra after the app says i'm finished so I cover a distance of 5k. Taking me 37 minutes to do 5k but in week 3 its taking me a couple of minutes longer. shouldn't i be getting quicker?
Also I am dreading jogging continuously for longer than 3 minutes.
Keep to the program, don't run any longer than is necessary, after you graduate and run several 30 minute consolidation runs THEN you can gradually get to the 5K distance, not just now at only just about completed week 3. Onwards and upwards to week 4 but not any further otherwise you could risk getting injured. 😊 🏃🏾
and includes advice on pacing, minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help., if you stick to the plan.
