Consolidation time

Hi everyone, I thought to post here because everyone else’s posts have helped me a great deal in the past. I started the programme in March to counteract all the sitting down and working from home and it felt so good and I felt so empowered each time that it is really the highlight of my week now. After week 2 onwards I went out there every time certain that I’d give up and not be able to finish, and was surprised every time. I feel really well in myself and running has improved all aspects of my life. I don’t know why I never thought I could be a runner in the past,... I lacked the confidence and self belief, which I found now with the help of this programme and all of you. So thank you so much.

If you’re into audiobooks I recommend A Run in the Park on BBC Sounds app. It’s about a group of people that start C25K. It is at times sad but also very uplifting too. I only started after graduating as during the programme I had to seriously focus on surviving the runs and just had happy music on.

Good luck everyone!

Well done Evi2020 ...what a lovely post to read...sounds like running has worked wonders for you? It's always good to have something recommended, might have to try that...I only ever listen to music as I can't seem to focus on talking but I have only really tried podcasts of people talking about stuff...which I find a bit monotonous so thanks for that 😉
