Jumpers knee/knee pain

I’ve completed week 5 run 2 and I’ve had knee pain between my patella and tibia for a couple of days now. It started the week before but went within a few hours. I’m really enjoying doing this and I don’t want to stop. Any advice please? ☹️

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Thank you, I was worried I would have to stop and I really don’t want to. Should I wait for the pain to go completely before starting again? I was due to go out today for run 3. It aches now but only if I bend it too much

It is best to listen to your body and not run in pain.

The advice in the guide can make all the difference.
