Hi, can I ask what is the right technique/place on the bottom of the foot to land as I feel comfortable landing on the front of my foot (balls!) and is much softer impact but have a feeling it should be a flat foot (middle) ? I have tried this but it seems a much heavier impact and not so natural?

Do what comes naturally and avoid heelstriking, which creates the most impact stresses, but is in fact the commonest footstrike amongst recreational runners.
The lowest impact is going to be the kindest to the rest of your body and we are all built differently.
