Sore calf muscle

I completed wk7 r1 on Sunday, but towards the end of the run felt my left hand calf muscle become painful, just as Jo had told me I had 60 seconds left to go. I really didn’t want to stop. My question now is how long should I leave it before I restart, (it’s still sore now) and where should I restart? ☹️

Rest up and follow the PRICE principles (see guide)

All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out and see what we can comfortably manage, then build back up gently, using C25k or something similar as a guide to weekly increase.
