I’ve been doing C25K for 6 weeks now and my calf pain started at week 2 and won’t stop. I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same and knows any advice?
I run the app as stated, and my calf pain is only in my right leg. I have proper running shoes, run on the road and rest for 2 days inbetween runs doing yoga and putting ice on my leg. The pain doesn’t happen in every day, only when I’m running and starts about 2-5 minutes in (it’s different each run, but it’s getting to a point now that I can’t complete the consecutive runs cause the pain just builds up and hurts so much). It’s worse when I’m running uphill, even by a little.
I’m getting very annoyed as I’m trying really hard with this programme and no matter what I do it hurts. It’s annoying to hear the app say ‘you might struggle but it’s a mental thing’. Mentally I want to run for the full 5k, it’s my legs that are the problem!! Any advice appreciated x
