Does anyone find that when they started doing the longer runs in couch to 5k, they start to wheeze quite a bit? Is that normal?

I don’t know about you, everyone’s asthma is different - I have been doubly sure to take my preventer inhaler since the virus seemed to be on its way, and I always carry my reliever with me when I run. I had a puff of that before I started each run as well. Since graduating I’ve been running without a puff before starting - not a conscious decision but it just happened- I still carry it with me- but I haven’t found I needed it. Have you tried a pre-run puff?

Asthma bothers me occasionally, as it happens it did a bit tonight on a 4K come back run. I think it is more about allergens with me, but as I run through woodland it can crop up sometimes. I take my preventer regularly and take my reliever with me. On a rare occasion it slows me down a bit. If exercise is causing the problem there are different relievers for that....you will find a way through. 😊
