This is for all those that are having a bit of self doubt. For those that are slightly larger than the average. At 6 foot 1 and weighing in at 17 stone my bmi thing says I’m obese. I get that as I have flabby wobbly bits. 😂 I started c25k last summer after losing a few stone. Last February I was 19 stone 11. But with the help of SlimmingWorld and the c25k app I have managed to get to where I am today. Yeah I still have a way to go but I’m getting there. Anyway and here’s my point really. On Monday I managed my first 10K. On Wednesday in the afternoon heat I struggled to do 5k. This morning I set out before 8 and managed to do my longest run to date. 6.8 miles so almost 11k. So if a fat knacker like me can get to this point with a bit of determination and a need to do a little better then anyone can. Please don’t give up on this program. It really does work. Try to pace yourself and fight the demons that are giving you any self doubt. Take care out there. Stay positive and don’t forget in this heat to make sure you drink plenty of water. 😁

Well done on getting to 10k and beyond. At Christmas 2018, I topped the scales at a smidge under 15 stone. Today I'm around 12¾. I started this in March 2019 and completed my third HM at the start of this month. It is amazing what this plan and some self-determination can achieve, but it is definitely worth it.
