Having graduated twice, and had to take a break due to injuries, I'm now stuck at week 4. If I progress beyond, I end up with unendurable pain in heel. I went to physio and got an x-ray, and apparently I have a bone spur near my heal which is irritating my plantar fascia. Bummer!
Anyway, 16 minutes of running interspersed with 18 minutes of walking isn't too shabby as an regular exercise routine. I think I'll stick with it, stretching and icing after every run, until either the foot collapses altogether or, with luck, things sort themselves out a bit.
