Omg: penultimate run and -uphill vs downhill

Well folks, after being out of action last week with my first ever migraine, I’m back to it. About to sweat my way around town for 30 mins on the week 9 run 2. I have discovered the sneaky hills of my town now I’m running further and that yes what goes up must come down. Or vice versa! My question to you al is, is it preferable to start downhill and save yourself only to slog the second half of your run uphill, or preferable to go uphill first and be exhausted but helped by a downhill second half?

Technically - I don’t now the answer but personally I’d rather incorporate a hill at the beginning/mid point when I have more energy in the tank. Congrats on coming this far, you’re almost done!

I think I’m the same, to be honest. I wonder if one way takes more energy than the other ... it feels like it!
