Can we still go for runs if there is a lockdown tonight. That’s the only thing keeping me going through this 🙈

I really hope so! I’ve only just started... just got in from completing my first week of runs! I’m very lucky that it’s quiet where I live so I can run along the lane near my house and only see the odd dog walker or other runner so I won’t be happy if those selfish people who are not following the guidelines spoil it for the rest of us!

If Spain is anything to go by I doubt it very much, not everyone is lucky enough to be able to run in the countryside even though i can.

I think most runners will find something else to do if we can’t run outside, and what’s a few weeks or months of it saves thousands of lives?

You’re right. This is the only way we can respond x

We will have to wait and see what the restrictions and exclusions are. As it stands at 19.16 on Monday 23rd in the UK there is no restriction on going outside to exercise as long as you maintain social distancing (2 metres).

If you have underlying health issues that mean you should not go out at all, then you will be notified by the NHS, assuming you are registered with a UK GP.

We shall see... but even if we do and we can’t... we will find a way to stay fit and healthy until we can run again.

I’m struggling to find my mojo, but I know as a group we can keep going even if in a different direction for a while.

So pleased to hear him say that we are allowed to leave the house to do 1 form of exercise, e.g. running, daily. Phew!

Also relieved to hear that we are on tighter restrictions for other movement as it was getting ridiculous seeing reports of crowds of folks not observing social distancing!
