Getting there slowly

I have finally completed WK4 after 7 weeks! Not exactly sticking to the 3 runs per week programme but keeping with it nonetheless. I am however proud of my progress, I never believed I could run and with OldFloss’ advice ringing in my ears ‘if you ain’t walking you’re running’ I have got this far. Slow is definitely my anthem but I’m feeling good. This forum is amazing and I love waking up and reading everyone’s inspiring and helpful posts. Thank you 😊

Slowly is the best way to get there... keep going just as you are and enjoy the wonderful “week” 5.

Well done. 👏 Sometimes, we don't always have the time or the motivation (or the health) to go out and run. I think some of us find it a bit harder than others so we should just carry on at whatever pace suits us. Old floss's advice is good as is going slowly. I think the reason I've quit before (apart from being unrealistic in my expectations) is going to quick but I'm learning to slow it down and then slow down more. Let us know how you get on with week 5. 👍
