How to stay warm when going for a run. I tend to feel the cold and the thought of running in the cold has stopped me going for a run. I graduated from C25k and have done a parkrun and now lost motivation

Staying warm

I wear a vest, thin hoodie and thin rain mac - this normally stops the wind chill and when I heat up I can unzip the jacket π¨βπ§π«πβοΈβοΈπ¦
Do you get warm once you start running? In the winter, I tend to layer up with a long sleeved top and then hoodie/ fleecy top over and on very cold days I wear a vest underneath the long sleeved top but I quite often find myself having to strip off a layer once Iβve started running, even on cold days like this morning. I think the thought of being out in it is worse than actually being out in it and once you start you realise itβs fine. I also find wearing a buff over my ears/ top of my head helps keep some warmth in.

Layers! Saying that, I put my shorts on tonight! π€£ shorts, long socks, long sleeved top, gilet and buff! ππ» never forget the buff!

Layers is the only way to keep warm.

Neck scarf/buff, beanie if it's really cold and I've been pleasantly surprised with how comfy and warm this is:
