Week 5 run 2 done. Read the blog about week 5 which helped enormously. Legs felt great, need to work on my breathing now - any advice greatly appreciated xx

Breathing.... I tend apply the in/out methodology 🤣.

Seriously, that's one thing I need to start to work on. I just let my body breath as it wants at the moment and it seems to work. But I know I need to start using some techniques.

So, cant help you on that one but, what a great attitude to week 5! You are going to love run 3.

You really are doing great. Keep up the good work!

:-) my fear is that if I try to focus on breathing in line with footsteps, the amount of concentration needed will be too much and I'll just trip up 🤣

Well done.

If breathing is difficult just make sure that you are running at an easy conversational pace, as described in the guide to the plan.

I was taught to breathe in as the left foot hits the ground and then out the next time the left foot strikes. Let the left foot strike once more as you exhale slowly and then breathe in again on the next left strike. Hope this makes sense. It really helps me.
