Recommencing C25K

I got a Bakers cyst when I first tried the C25K 3 years ago, and then turned them same knee over and have pain on the inside of my left knee. I do knee exercises 3 times a week from the physio but have been told it’s not a good idea to run, but I did enjoy it and would love to try again.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to re commence, as I am now nearly 70 on 22nd feb and have put on weight.

Thank you

Was it the physio who told you it was “not a good idea to run”? If so, maybe get a second opinion from a different physio? If you are given the go-ahead, you could start off with some good brisk walks, and then restart the C25K plan, nice and slowly. I am sure the strength work you are doing for your knees will set you up well if you are able to run. I wish you all the best!

Welcome to the forum.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Get a second opinion from another physio but I don't think that you should take medical advice from this bunch of well meaning but for the most part medically untrained strangers on the internet.

Enjoy your journey.
