I was going to tell you all about our run, all the fancy new stats on my Garmin, sadly I couldn’t start the run whatever i did, there was mutterings to Willow that he can have the Garmin and I would go back to the fitbit, very quiet muttering because the park was full of dogs and people

Anyway we ran for about half an hour it was lovely apart from missing being told each kilometre, but was pleasantly surprised when we got home that it can’t have been far off 5k and we’d run for about 40 ish minutes we did some intervals of faster running and slower running

Anyway I can’t tell you much about the run and I couldn’t take a photo because i didn’t have my phone with me, so here’s a picture of my post run bowl of fruit just because....

Oh the gps connected and the music played so 2 out of 3 isn’t bad

And something else, Garmin tells me I have a fitness age of 58

Hope you enjoyed your run and your bowl of fruit, looks lovely.

Now back to the garmin. I know I've got a different model but here goes.

On mine I press one of the buttons to get me to outdoor run then press it again then it tells me to wait until it picks up a satellite gps signal then it will say start and you press the button to start your run.

You've probably done this but I thought I'd give it a go . Good luck 😊😊

Found this

Thanks, I couldn’t quite manage all the fruit but it can wait til later

As to the garmin i started with a coach and i found the run i was due to do but there was no start and when i tapped it it offered to cancel it so off we went, first lap it couldn’t find the music so we stopped while i fiddled with it and muttered, music playlist and off we went, after a while i couldn’t decide if anything was happening so i checked the time and continued for about half an hour it was actually a very comfortable run

Willow had covered 4.1 k on the fitbit and i ran on for another 7 minutes

It’s frustrating but it will work

I have 2 buttons i have pressed and pressed and hold them both i have swiped all over and get so many different screens but no run one maybe i removed it when playing with settings on the first day, i shall go back to google

You ran around a park which was full of dogs and people, that you could say was a "parkrun"

I like that photograph of that bowl of fruit, I bet you enjoyed eating the fruit after your run.

Enjoy the rest of the day 😊 🏃🏾.

That fruit looks like a delicious and well earned treat. Well done on a great run, even if the tech didn't record it, your body knows what you did!
