Again this morning, I really didn't feel like it.

It took a few more minutes today, about 12 before I was thinking I'll do a shorter route. I stuck with that plan thinking if it only takes 25 minutes that's what I'm going to end up doing.

I got to the end of the route and knew I'd be so angry and disappointed at myself for not pushing that last four and a half minutes that I went on another little loop around. That took me five minutes 😜

I had pushed myself, my legs turned to jelly as soon as I stopped running and it took a while before they felt normal again.

I persevered. I remained determined and once again, I pulled out another thirty minute run I really did not feel like doing. Hopefully Friday will feel a bit better 🤞

That’s so good. You’re absolutely right that you would have been annoyed and it’s great you pushed on. It will get easier, honestly!!

Well done on pushing yourself. I’ve had one run since graduating that I physically couldn’t go on so only ran 20 mins and I felt really down. That was on Monday but today I ran 5k and it took me over 46 mins! I was on a treadmill so easier I know but at 30 mins I felt strong so decided to go a bit longer... then I was not far from 5k so decided to go on til I got there 😬 my point is I don’t think our bodies r holding us back (mostly) it’s our heads! Well done for pushing on 👍🏼

My body was tired though. My legs heven't ever felt that 'floaty' when I stopped, maybe close one time but they really were like jelly, I was worried I wasn't going to be able to walk back home. I will keep pushing on though, determined to make the thirty minute runs easier, then I'll up my pace and try for the 5k. I just hope it gets easier soon 😜
