Could anyone give me any advice, please, on problems with aching legs.
Whilst a measure of slight pain and discomfort is perfectly acceptable and, to some degree, could be said to be expected, my own legs have had a felt like concrete on last two or three occasions I've run.
Although I've had this same problem on previous occasions in previous years, it's never carried on as long as three consecutive runs, and I've always eventually run the problem off. Whilst it certainly won't stop me running, my progress is being slowed just at the moment, so I could do with it a bit of advice on how to go about being sorted out.
Could anyone help me at all on this one, please?
Regards and thanks in advance

Are you well hydrated, about 2-3 litres per day and not just on run days. Even though we are into winter we still need the water . Are you stretching after EVERY run. Good luck and hope this helps 😊
I ran on concrete legs all the way through the programme and beyond
Slowing the pace right down and maybe having a few days rest between runs might help
Keeping mobile between sessions is important, so some😳 cross training would be good. Walking is fine, cycling or swimming. Leg strengthening helps, eg calf exercises. They help the entire leg 🙂
It takes 18-24 months to build a set of running legs. Slow progression is key 💪👍😃
I drink quite a lot of water, but have just realised that I don’t drink very much before I go out to run. I’ll change this from now on, and I’ll let you know how I go on.
I crave the buzz I get afterwards, so I still run despite the pain, but let’s hope this can sort it out.
