Hi, I’m really into my running now,I do 5K thr... - Couch to 5K
Hi, I’m really into my running now,I do 5K three times a week and love it.I’m thinking of buying a watch or app to track my mileage and time
Loads of us use garmin forerunner 35. Gives loads of stats, alerts for time, distance heart rate etc. Links into phone to display loads of numbers and graphs. Costs just over £100. May be offers for Black Friday
I used Strava, the free version and it tracks distance and time. 😊
I didn’t know Strava was free,I’ll get the app,I miss Sarah encouraging me in couch to 5K.Thank you
If you're not looking to spend lots then I highly recommend my watch, Amazfit Bip. Depending on the deals you can pick it up on Amazon for about £50. Looks similar to an apple watch and does pretty much everything you need it to, albeit not quite a slick as the big brand watches, but I've not found that to be an issue. Oh, and my favourite bit - battery lasts a good 3-4weeks (depending on how much you use the GPS function)
Amazfit Bip Lite Smartwatch Fitness Tracker with Heart Rate Monitor 45 Days Battery Life, 3 ATM Resistant (Black) amazon.co.uk/dp/B07TGBPZYF/...
There are third party apps to make it do even more things, but you need to be a little tech savvy to get the most out of them.
Thank you I’ll look at this.I’m not very tech savvy just wanna simple one.
Garmin Forerunner 10... many of us started with this.. basic and easy to use
E Bay... £40.00 ish
Garmin forerunner 35. Just received this for my birthday and its brilliant.
Im a fitbit owner, i wouldnt recommend one. If it wasnt for the fact that mt friends and i do challenges on the app id be considering changing to a garmin or samsung. DO NOT FORK OUT FOR A FITBIT the app is unreliable and the watch isnt really all that great gor the price. X
