I saw it like climbing a mountain. You climb up then come down a little to climatise before going back up and reaching the goal.

Climb too far to fast to sooner without climatising properly and you are going to struggle to reach the top.

Seems odd, but trust the plan and go with it.

Well done for completing w5. Not long to go now

It’s all about the workout length, most find W6R1 harder than W5R3

Good question! I don’t know, but I like the analogy from Bike_and_Run! I do know one thing, and that is that W6R1 is harder than you might think, so take it slowly.....😁

W6R1 is the longest workout in the programme up to that point...........and many get caught out by it.
