Welcome... that’s the toughest week done... bye bye couch and hello run! You’re feeling better already, and it just keeps getting better. Enjoy your journey to 30 minutes and finding that inner awesome.
Well done Rachel. I’m on week 7 and found it’s positive physically and mentally so well done on starting and best wishes for next few weeks. X
The mental benefits of running are amazing, just wait for those wonderful endorphins, they get better with each new week. Happy running
Great for completing wk1. Running is as good for mental health as it is for physical health.
Just go slow and slower again if needed and remember to drink lots of water per day and not just on run days about 2-3 litres.
C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here good luck 😊😊
Well done. As others have said the 2 hardest parts are over. Choosing to start and actually starting. Enjoy every second of the journey. Just take your time and trust the plan.
Well done for starting this plan is good for releasing stress and for health and fitness

Pop in every so often and tell us how you are getting on. 😊
Hi and welcome for start C25k good luck 👍
Well done on getting going! It really does help with stress and anxiety.
This programme is amazing and can teach us so much more than how to run if we let it.
Keep it up, you're doing great 👌🏻😁
Hi there Rachel, it does, and it will! You've got this, I use running as a stress buster as many on here may recall reading about....it will change your life if you keep at it, welcome to being addicted....to running 🏃♀️💖
Thank you guys. I started going to yoga because of PTSR. I needed to keep myself calm. I've recently learnt that I need to do a form of exercise that gets the heart pumping... hence the running. I will get my fight back!!!! I'm very much enjoying my time out of the house and feel great each time I get home from a run. I just need to make sure I stick with it. 🏃♀️ = 😁
Luckily for me, I am not stressed on my own life at the moment. I am however supporting others who have had huge trauma and tragedy in their lives recently. I know that I have to stay mentally strong and healthy. Consequently, I take great care to manage my mental and physical health and running is part of this.
I have never yet been for a run (I'm on week 8, run 2) and not felt better when I've got home. It's not that the problems have gone away; sadly that can never happen. It's more that I feel able to cope and stay on top of things. I also value the time spent in my own head. I couldn't imagine running with other people.
Best of luck and I'm convinced you will feel the benefit too.
