I have found that every time I want to do the C25K training something happens to stop me in my tracks, first it was a hot hot 2018 summer stopped me at week 5, I prefer daytime training as I had got myself in this pattern, so evening training wasn’t what I wanted, then I stopped for a while and when I started again I managed to get to week about week 3 or 4 and I had an injury so I bought some new trainers with good shock absorbers as my chiropractor advised, but unfortunately I had another injury not long after that as I had to take it back to week 1, and I don’t think I managed to get past week two by the time this other injury occurred. So I decided to run on a treadmill only now able to alternate between weeks 1 and 2, so I lost all the motivation I had for this now so not consistently doing weeks 1 and 2 on the treadmill as I prefer to be outside to be honest. Sorry no success story here. 😔
Was doing so well : I have found that every time... - Couch to 5K

You might think you don't have a successful story to tell but at least you are trying . If you're interested before I started c25k I did a few months of daily brisk walking to the point of getting my heart rate up and sometimes sweating. I think this helped me and I have had no injuries, a few aches along the way but nothing serious. Good luck 😊😊

I did the same as Buddy34, when I did this back in 2015, I did daily brisk walks (30 mins) for a month before tackling week 1, I was very unfit at the time.

That’s such a shame Lucelou but top marks for your perseverance so far - that’s definitely worth celebrating! It may be that running’s not for you but you know that once you’re injury free again, we’ll all be here to encourage you along the way again should you decide to give it another go! All the best!
