I posted on here the other day regarding hurting my hip and will I have to go back to run 1 as I haven’t been able run for a while
Well I have just had my letter regarding physio and the earliest they can get me in is February 2020.😢😊
That’s such a wait I really am going miss my running. I started this time last year and preferred the winter month runs than the summer ones. I’m wondering if it’s worth just paying myself to see a physio so I don’t have this long wait

The waiting times to see a consultant/ phisyo are rubbish, I should know i waited 40-50 weeks to see orthopaedic doctors. Anyway if you can afford it then yes . Good luck 😊
You need help now to keep you mobile so if it’s feasible on your budget go privately! What a stunning picture. I could put on my trainers & run right into it!!
I had a problem with my hip back in the summer. I was very lucky and got referred to a local physio straight away - literally the next day after my appt with the GP! Anyway, the physio gave me some daily exercises to do and advised me not to run until I felt hip was feeling better and I was able to walk normally. So you're possibly going to need time to do the exercises before you can start running again. For this reason, I would make a private appt - the physio I saw on the NHS was the same guy I'd found when I googled sports physios in my local area - I think if you can afford it, it's worth paying for a one off appointment to at least get started on feeling better and hopefully, get you back to running sooner rather than later.
Hi, i waited 6 months to see an nhs physio and that person was rubbish and I swore never to wait again as the problem got worse. Anyway would highly recommend seeing someone privately and probably can be sorted in a few sessions. First session is usually longer and a little more expensive but what’s more important that your body?
