1st Parkrun done

So today was mine and my husbands first ever Parkrun! It was fab - really enjoyed it! My only goal was to get round without stopping to walk, and to wnjoy it of course. If im honest though I couldn't help but have flashbacks to primary school, being the last one in the race type thing and feeling slow and rubbish when people are zooming past (and even lapping you). My time was 37 mins, which is almost 10 minutes slower than when I was doing the last of the app runs and consolidation.

I know I shouldnt be disappointed and I should be proud for doing it and coming so far over the summer - i just wondered if anyone else felt like this?

So unbelievably glad I did C25K and chuffed we did that this morning though.

It's great that both of you did parkrun together. I did my first parkrun got a time did my second was faster then did the third was slower. I've now realised what's important to me is getting round the course without stopping not the time. Congratulations to you both ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Well done you! Any run is a win, regardless of the time, and will just make you stronger for the next one.
